Thanksgiving
We had dinner with Lee's family, which was very nice, since they were serving their mission last year. We are blessed to have both families in the valley, making it easy to travel between his family and mine.

Christmas
Came and went in a blur.
We went to SLC with our great friends The Bradley's and McNeil's to spend the afternoon at The Christmas Box House. It was a humbling, heartbreaking and beautiful experience...all at the same time
We went to Temple Square to see the lights. It was TOTALLY FREEZING!!! But we still had a great time.
Our elf friend Buddy returned and helped keep the girls in line (riiiiiigggghhhhhtttt).
But his stay at our house DID help get the girls out of bed every morning. It was a race to see who could find him first.

I really LOVED attending Church on Christmas day. Our Sacrament meeting was at 1 p.m. so the girls had plenty of time to open presents (since they got up at 3 a.m.).
I felt like that sent a completely different tone for the rest of the day. It was a little more peaceful, a little less materialistic and filled with the blessings of love and family!

New Year's Eve
Was quiet! This was the first year in six that we did not host or attend a party. And it was nice and relaxing! Kenzie had a date, so Lee and I took the little girls out to a movie and ice cream. We came home, Lee zonked out and me and the girls brought in the New Year together...quietly.
